Beer, Bourbon & BBQ Festival

Let’s say you walked into a bar and the bartender handed you a glass, inviting you to try anything you liked. Sound too good to be true?

Not at the Beer, Bourbon & BBQ festival coming to Municipal Auditorium this weekend. The admission fee includes a souvenir glass for tasting dozens of different bourbons and beers. You can taste whiskeys from artisan distilleries such as Blanton’s, Basil Hayden and Pappy Van Winkle, as well as old reliables such as Maker’s Mark and Wild Turkey. You can sample brews from the likes of Colorado’s New Belgium and Georgia’s Sweetwater. Local favorite Pig and Pie will be among the barbecue vendors.

The sipping starts at noon Saturday for VIP ticketholders and 2 p.m. for everyone else at Municipal Auditorium, 417 Fourth Ave. N. Tickets are $35 VIP advance, $25 standard advance, $30 day of and $20 designated driver. Go to www.beerandbourbon.com/Nashville/show-info.
