Byrd's Eye View: Exodus
Credit:Heather Byrd
Something unique happened in Nashville over the weekend when three innovative ladies got together to create a fashion and art event.
Jessica Maros and Shannon Lea, up-and-coming fashion designers, presented garments inspired by the photography of Talia Shipman, a Vancouver native who developed a series of photos called "Exodus," modern interpretations of the biblical plagues.
The fashion and photographs were shown gallery style, with models clad in the designs standing like statues next to each of the photos.
A portion of proceeds went to Global Green USA and the New Orleans Disaster fund.
