Byrd's Eye View: Oscar Night America
AND THE WINNER IS…
Music City got a taste of the enchantment of Hollywood when Belcourt Theatre hosted Oscar Night America, an annual event for the historic Nashville landmark and one of 52 officially sanctioned Oscar parties that take place across the country during the awards ceremony. Guests in everything from blue jeans to black tie were greeted by a flock of flashbulbs as they strutted down the red carpet. Once inside, patrons nibbled on sumptuous hors d'oeuvres, perused a substantial silent auction and enjoyed the show, which was shown live on The Belcourt’s two huge movie screens. This is the 10th consecutive year that Belcourt has participated in the Oscar festivities. Be sure to check out www.belcourt.org to learn more about all the upcoming events.
