Byrd's Eye View: Carnival at Lime
DID SOMEBODY SAY SAMBA?
Each year, more than half a million festive folks flock to Rio de Janeiro, Brazil for Carnival, a wild, four-day celebration leading up to Fat Tuesday and the beginning of Lent after which one is supposed to abstain from all bodily pleasures. On Sunday night, Lime played host to a Carnival party complete with sexy Samba dancers, a live percussionist, Brazilian cuisine and two for one Caipirinhas and Sambatinis. It may have been cold outside but the temperature inside was hot, hot, HOT!
