The Nashville Predators players and coaches hosted a stellar event right on the ice at Bridgestone Arena last week. Guests received VIP treatment from the moment they stepped on the red carpet entrance to the black tie event that had our home team's star players mixing it up with attendees and trying their luck on the Blackjack and Craps tables for a chance to win Predators memorabilia and luxurious prizes.
In addition to all the gaming action, complimentary cocktails and sumptuous hors de oeuvres were available from some of Nashville's finest restaurants including the Patron Platinum Club, Amerigo's, Old Hickory Steakhouse, Ravello and Cascades at Gaylord Opryland. And for those looking for one-of-a-kind items, an extensive silent auction featured such exciting opportunities as a road trip and dinner with the entire team.
Best of all, all proceeds from the event went to benefit the Nashville Predators Foundation. The Predators Foundation has awarded more than $2 million in financial grants and donations since its 1998 inception, including nearly $300,000 last year to more than 90 Nashville area organizations. Additionally, the foundation has provided in-kind donations, including memorabilia and tickets, to many organizations and fund-raising events.
