Byrd's Eye View: Pay Day at Mai
In celebration of my personal favorite day of the week, pay day, Mai has launched a monthly party to be held the first Friday of the month called, you guessed it, Pay Day.
The kickoff event was hosted by local party gents Nima Hasannejad and Micah Copeland and featured ear candy from coolout. The crowd was gorgeous, the likes of which we haven't seen since the closing of Layl'a.
The theory behind the event is that you take your entire paycheck and spend it on something gorgeous to wear, leaving just enough cash leftover to pay your bar tab at the end of the night.
Responsible? Not hardly. Fun? Absolutely.
