Though the weather outside was frightful with cold showers throughout the night, it didn't deter several hundred merry Santas from descending upon downtown Nashville to spread holiday cheer. The annual tradition that has everyone scrambling to pull together Santa costumes for one night of pub crawling debauchery has only a few simple rules: Don't make kids cry. Dress warmly. Don't whine. No throwing coal. Bring naughty gifts for grown-ups and nice ones for kids. No drunken vomiting in alleys. Pay for the booze you drink and tip the bar staff. Stick together. Don't drink and drive.
