Byrd's Eye View - "White Liar"
PUTTING ON THE RITZ
In celebration of her first No. 1 hit, "White Liar," Miranda Lambert and songwriter Natalie Hemby hosted a hotsy-totsy 1940s themed affair thrown by BMI at Cellar One in downtown Nashville over the weekend. Several hundred gentlemen and dames including Kellie Pickler came out for the celebration in their ritziest ensembles, which included live swing music from The Big Thrill.
The spiffy hostesses took turns thanking their guests from the stage, Hemby with a ten minute gush session that led to Miranda playfully grabbing the mike and asking her "Golly, are you done yet?"
Lambert then kept her speech short and sweet mentioning that she was grateful to everyone in the room before posing for a few photos and strolling into the VIP area where she was greeted with a smooch from her tall drink of water, Blake Shelton.<br />The adorable couple headed out the very next morning to New York City to promote Blake's new album "Hillbilly Bone," which was just released on March 2.
