Flashed! Mercy Lounge Flood Benefit
While Mercy Lounge and Cannery Ballroom were not affected by the flooding, so many of their friends, staff and artists who play there were. On Wednesday, May 5, 2010, they decided to give back by holding a benefit with 100% of the proceeds donated to the flood victims. The night included performances from Dozen Dimes, How I Became the Bomb, Hillbilly Casino and Paper Route and it raised more than $11,000 for Hands on Nashville and The Community Foundation of Middle Tennessee.
