Flashed! The Kills at The Cannery Ballroom
The crowd was a telling source for just how influential U.K. band The Kills have been on the American rock scene- it was a mixture of purposefully grungy teens dressed all in black, middle aged men in baseball hats, and women 20-45 who enjoy rocking out. A crowd so diverse that it was hard to tell the die-hard fans from the tagalongs, but its possible that they were all the former judging from the endless shouts of praise song after song. There was no shortage of energy onstage as The Entrance Band, Cold Cave, and The Kills each brought their own set of grooving moves and musical prowess.
