From the network where "In Living Color" broke ground with urban comedy, Fox premieres new half-hour sketchy comedy series "In the Flow with Affion Crockett." Hosted by and starring Affion Crockett ("Nick Cannon Presents: Wild 'N Out"), the fresh-faced comedian brings a bevy of characters to the series with spoofs on movie trailers, commercials, TV shows, music videos and, of course, celebrities. (Some of his recent work can be seen on YouTube where he impersonates Tiger Woods on a miniature golf course and pretends to be Russell Simmons' clone.)
"In the Flow with Affion Crockett" is executive produced by Academy Award and Grammy Award winner—and "In Living Color" alum—Jamie Foxx. The upbeat series premiere features an hour-long special episode and will air late night encores on Saturdays starting on August 20th. Also produced by the co-creators of "MADtv," Crockett's sketch show is like the pop cultured 2.0 love child of Fox's "In Living Color" and "MADtv."
Crockett's comedy chops will go along side with special guests like Snoop Dogg, Russell Simmons, Chris Brown, Harry Shum, Jr. ("Glee"), David Koechner ("The Office") and the dance crew X-Mob in its first season.
