"Pride and Prejudice"

Fashion: We’re not sure why Keira Knightly can’t stop acting in period movies (she’s donned more corsets than Marie-Antoinette), but we still applaud her look in “Pride and Prejudice.” For this Jane Austen adaptation, costume designer Jacqueline Durran set out female characters in simple empire waists that adhere well to the Napoleon time period.
Fix: For night, Durran wove pearls throughout Knightly’s hair; a look that’s easy to ape today with a simple shopping stop at accessory chain Claires.
