First thing i was there on the night this happened, you sir were being very rude yourself, he appoligised for anything that "might" have been offensive. You would'nt drop it. instead you asked what you get for free. and when he stated nothing. you wouldnt shut up about it. I have been to cinema planet multiple times and greatly enjoy the manager your speaking about, he is honest and hard working, and is constnaly there for us if we have any questions. And if you would have tried anything MY husband would have been more then happy to interviene..

Vulgar Management

My girlfriend and I went to this theatre for the second time(our first visit was great) on 3/28/11. We loved the seats and 'Terminator' ice cream brownie dessert so we ordered it again after the movie. The employees are bored riding the clock for a paycheck and they hound you while you are trying to enjoy time alone with your date. The manager kept trying to flirt with my girl with me sitting right there and I am 6'8, 260...wow...and to make it worse, he made a vulgar comment about the dessert to her. You should never go there...EVER...!! He even let her take his pic with the brownie ala mode that He made, before later making the comment!! Complaints will be filed...

Movie Experience

We (8 of us) visited the facility for the 1st time Nov.19, 2010. We were prepared to pay the higher prices for the tickets because we were celebrating my sister's birthday. We were happy and surprised to find out that the ticket prices were lowered and now they are only $1.00 more than Hollywood 16 and Jackson 10. We started to leave because the credit card machine was down (thank goodness we had enough cash among us to pay for the tickets). We decided to eat after the show in the restaurant area of the theater. The server was a very nice, sweet young lady. The meal took entirely Too Long to get and was COLD when we received it. My meal was the last to be delivered to the table and my family was almost finished eating when I got my food. We ordered a variety of food items and decided we will never eat there again. My sister ordered the Burger and Fries and enjoyed it. I'm glad someone enjoyed their meal. The experience was very disappointing. We did ask for the manager and he discounted our meal ticket totals, although I thought he should have done more and showed some more compassion. Anyway, since then we have been back 3 times. I still would rather go there and sit in the comfortable seats compared to the other theaters, especially since the prices are nearly the same. I agree with the other person about the door entrance from the ticket booth. We should be using the doors beside the ticket booth, then maybe more people would buy the popcorn since the concession area is near that door. Even though our 1st experience was bad, we still go to this theater; we just don't order the food.

Evaluation of New Theater

On New Year's Eve day, I took my family and a few of my daughter's friends to visit and check out the new and different theater in town. I was impressed with the facilities and decor; however, several things were very disappointing. I had recently read the full page advertisement that appeared in the Jackson Sun paper, and noticed that the prices for admission were the same as the other theaters in Jackson, a plus that inspired me to try the theater in the first place. Other than the facilities and decor, I was disappointed with the rest of the visit. First of all, the ticket window (outside as are most) was approximately 40 feet from the entrance door, which is inconvenient in cool and rainy weather as was the case that day. Secondly, as we went to see a 3D movie, to my surprise, there was an additional fee of $1.50 per person which was not noted in their full page advertisement in the Jackson Sun. This is $.50 more than any of the other Jackson theaters charge. Feeling betrayed by this, I spoke to the manager and relayed my disappointment, not so much as that there was an additional charge but alluded to the fact that this was not published in their newspaper ad. The manager assured me that it would be corrected. Who can go to a movie without popcorn? I dare say that that is almost as American as hotdogs and apple pie. This was the most disappointing part of the outing, as to my discovery that a large drink and large popcorn (commonly referred to as a "combo") was $10.00 AND did NOT speciify free refills (does include refills if you ask) as all the other theaters policy. The other theaters (Jackson's Hollywood 16 Cinema and the Jackson 10 Cinema) offer this same combo WITH free refills for $7.50. Additionally, while I found that the food for sale (i.e. wings, hamburgers) looked very appetizing, the taste was not. Overall, the facilities are very good, but the prices and disappointment in the food taste regretablywill not bring this customer back to this theater. For me, living in Henderson, the theater is out of the way from the locale of the other theaters so it is definitely not in the best interest to return.

Theater is nice, but the food is bad

I went to see a movie for the first time in a couple of years. I loved the seats, very comfortable. It was really nice to be able to order some food and have a nice fresh cup of coffee. We ordered wings with medium sauce. I really liked the flavor of the sauce but the breading on the wings was very mushy, I would have preferred no breading, they would have been much better. We then ordered a hamburger. The fries that came with it were great, the curly ones I love. The burger had nice fresh garnish with it but the burger itself was horrible, it was mushy and very salty. I would go back to the theater, but probably would not order food again.
