Onscreen, George Clooney can’t help but charm even if his characters (bank robbers, ex-cons, workaholics) aren’t always obviously lovable. Clooney’s charismatic demeanor and self-effacing humor always win women over.
However, his smooth-talking, secret-keeping politician in “The Ides of March,” is one Clooney character you wouldn't want to open your heart to. (We suspect that unusual dark side attracted him to playing the role while also directing the movie.)
