Blind Pilot

This placid pair of indie-folk groups from opposite coasts — Portland, Ore., and Providence, R.I., respectively — might not do much to demand a listener's attention, but take the time to zero in, and you'll be richly rewarded. Blind Pilot's spare, highly melodic confessionals should be a nice contrast to the washy harmonies and husk of The Low Anthem.
