From the outside, this place looks like a homey little bar. Inside is a sound system ranking with Nashville's best and a stage that often supports brilliant, locally based roots-rock artists like Pat McLaughlin and Richard Ferreira. Like the Bluebird Cafe, Douglas Corner brings in a busy collection of respected Nashville country songsmiths, but its space is a little more conducive to the louder stuff, so those songsmiths will often turn up the dials a skosh for their Corner sets.
