Fresh from rehab and collectively sober for the first time in band history, Mötley Crüe released what many consider to be their best record, "Dr. Feelgood," in 1989. Ironically, the bad boys of L.A. metal were more popular than ever after cleaning up their act; "Dr. Feelgood" became the group's first and only No. 1 album.
