Punk and hardcore aficionados in Nashville set up shop here, a small club and coffee shop that's happy to accommodate all that is loud and energetic. That it offers a stage for the young and loud crowd is a fine thing; the club's sound and the space overall, not so much. A finely tuned listening room it's not, sure, but not every city can boast a haven for all-ages metal and the ilk, which makes The Muse a valuable space for both the tatted folks who hang out there and parents who'd rather The Muse host said shows instead of their basement.
