Though it sits inconspicuously in the middle of a shopping center, don't take Franklin venue The Pond for another strip-mall sports bar. About a half-hour's drive from downtown Nashville, The Pond's a prime music spot for club regulars who need a break from the city and suburban pickers who don't feel like heading into it.
