Taylor Swift
The 2010 Country Music Association Awards (CMAs) got underway in Nashville on Wednesday, Nov. 10, with the biggest stars of country music strutting their stuff on a fashionably black carpet (red is so 2009). Taylor Swift, Carrie Underwood and Gwyneth Paltrow (yes, she was there to sing, to promote her new film "Country Strong") were, as expected, the most talked-about fashion divas, although Kellie Pickler also turned heads with her flashy diamond engagement ring (her boyfriend, songwriter Kyle Jacobs, proposed this past summer).
Inside, the evening was chock full of performances that barely left time for the awards. Lady Antebellum, Miranda Lambert and Blake Shelton were all multiple award winners, while Brad Paisley, as many expected, won his first Entertainer of the Year award, the evening's top prize.
