They shred. They wail. And they make really awesome faces while doing it.
John Mayer is on the road in support of his latest album, "Battle Studies," which is great news for the folks here at Metromix—not just because we dig the live version of "Gravity," but because Mayer is a true master of the Guitar Face. You know the face we're talking about—the one guitarists (and bassists, and the occasional drummer) make when they're deep into a song and really feeling it. Over the years and across the country, Metromix photographers have caught some of the most memorable makers of Guitar Faces at the peak of their game.
