From the moment the Vandy-area Chili's opens, it's slammed with devotees of the Tex-Mex menu. Margaritas are a must, and daily happy hour specials are pretty sweet. Burgers are pretty good, large and juicy, and a variety of salads also hit the spot. Fajitas are a tasty bet, but milder palates can get a turkey or chicken sandwich. Parking is almost always full -- and frustrating -- so it may be best to not even bother with the underground lot and find something on the street.
