Made famous by the melt-in-your-mouth, sugar-glazed goodness advertised by the sign, Krispy Kreme also has 27 other varieties, including cake doughnuts, kruellers and fritters. Should you go the hot route, eat 'em quick, as the magic dissipates after a half-hour or so.
