Authentic Mexican food can be hard to come by in Nashville if you don't know where to look, but the Americanized version can be pretty tasty too. Las Maracas on Gallatin Pike is doing things both ways, though heavy on the American. Your typical combo platters hold sway next to familiar chips and queso, fajitas and other mainstays of the modern Mexican-American trade agreement. But what Las Maracas lacks in verve and innovation, it makes up for in friendliness and accessibility.
