Singer-songwriter and former Nashvillian Ryan Adams namedrops this spot in his song "Tennessee Sucks," but it wasn't the club he was digging on. Before it shuttered a few years back, it was one of the city's top rock spots, with great sight lines and similarly solid sound; it faced some stumbling blocks after its first reopening, but current club heads Justin Roddick and Daniel Slezinger of Autumn Addict have dedicated themselves to returning the club to its former glory, and they're making some clear strides. Big & Rich man John Rich probably spends almost as much time there of late as he does his living room, which isn't hurting its clout with friends of Rich's genre-straddling MuzikMafia crew.
