5 to Try: Grilled cheese
If your digestive tract is too lazy to process salad, then grilled cheese is the meal for you. It's the least amount of work you can do and still consider it cooking. Two pieces of bread, a slab of cheese, a hunk of butter, a frying pan. What's even more indulgent? Letting someone else cook up the cheesy-melty-buttery goodness for you. And then having someone shove it in your mouth while you're sleeping and rubbing your throat until you swallow it. Resolve to eat more of these in 2011, because that's a resolution you can keep.
