Pad Thai
The little trailer-shaped space across from LP Field has had many identities, mostly barbecue and pizza-related. Thai native Suwanna Riley takes it a new direction, a no-frills but cheery Thai restaurant. The menu offers straightforward Thai cuisine, including the titular pad Thai noodles. Main dishes lean toward stir-fries, with chicken, beef or shrimp. Pad khing takes its flavor from ginger root, while pad ka-prao is all about spicy basil leaves. There's a small selection of beer in bottles, and folks in the know like the creamy, spicy Thai iced tea.
