Brodgers wrote about The Stage on Broadway
I live in downtown Nashville and have been to almost every bar in the downtown area. The Stage has always provided excellent music, superior service, (seriously fast, friendly and accurate), and a great atmosphere. Also...IT"S CLEAN!!! Which is less than I can say for other honky tonks on the street. Def a great place for locals and tourists alike!

This is the kept secret in Nashville! Best burgers in town.

I have ate at many Sushi bars in Nashville and surrounding areas, Peter's has the freshest in town, I guess this because of Peter's extensive expierence and suppliers he has known for 35 + years in the business, My girl and I don't bother with any other Sushi places.
FoodyCritic wrote about September's Restaurant
At first we were excited to have such a unique restaurant in Hendersonville and we had heard come great things from our friends that were frequent diners at the Shackle Island location. We have been to Septembers now 7 different times in an effort to try something new on the menu. Unfortunately, we have been disappointed everytime. We had reservations (not that they were needed the restuarant only had 3 customers at 6 p.m. on Saturday) and the hostess did not have our reservation. She left us standing up front for almost 10 minutes in an attempt to locate our reservation. Why would she not just sit us given the restaurant was nearly empty? After we were finally seated we sat for about another 10 minutes for our server and we ordered wine and an appetizer. Our appetizer arrived before our Wine. Our spinach dip appetizer was cold and had a film on the top and we sent it back. I ordered the soup of the day and a salad and the soup was so saltly I could only have one bite of it and I returned it to the kitchen. My husband ordered a steak well done and it arrived totally pink. We are just sad that this restaurant cannot seem to get a good staff or a kitchen staff that can truly prepare food. Needless to say, we will not be returning and will be sharing with our friends that if they want an organized reservation and a well-prepared meal to go elsewhere.

very disappointed in Aharts Pizza Garden. I ordered a B.O.T. 14", supposed to come with Basil, Bacon, Onion, and Fresh Tomato. I repeated the order twice, even saying all the ingredients. My sister-in-law picked up the pizza on her way home from work, and when it arrived it was 'The Boro', which is Basil, Sun Dried Tomatoes, and Garlic. I really don't like sun dried tomatoes. I called to see what I could do, but unfortunately my family had already 'dug in' and eaten half of it. I took 2 bites and realized they were sun dried and spat it out. Yuck. $17.99 wasted imho. PB&J for me. They really should have taken care of me.

This is soooo good! The guy at the counter will make your bubble tea any way you like it, and the flavor combinations are incredible. This one is a million times better than the one at the Opry Mills mall. The decor is gorgeous-it'slike you're drinking bubble tea in a Jetsons spaceship, surrounded by goofy Polaroids to look at. The only thing is, you might not want to stay, because Mr. Anger Boy at the counter gives you the stink-eye the whole time he fills your order, and lets you know that you are interuppting his precious laptop computer time, which he keeps right on the counter. All the better to ignore you with as soon as possible, my dear. Happens every time I'm in there and really makes me want to leave instead of hang out. Sad, because it's such a cool locale by shops, etc. and with great decor. These drinks cost like $4. Smile, Jerk!

Our hostess let us know right away that she was not our server in a tone that suggested she'd rather die than ever serve us anything. Things only got worse as we were served the most watered-down martini I've ever had the misfortune to pay for (should've sent it back). Our seafood was okay. Nothing outstanding for the price. The waiter seemed stressed & uncomfortable. This was an unpleasant experience. Yes, it has pleasant outside seating-but that isn't enough.

This is a funky little bar with amazing live music (some of Nashville's session & touring greats do gigs here when they're off the road) and exciting, off-beat decor. Sparkly lights and thrift-shop finds give it a unique look you have to see in person. The soft lighting and small tables, unpretentious vibe make it a cool place to meet someone new. The food is good, not outstanding. The service is excellent & very friendly. No liquor, only wine and beer :( Still, an enjoyable "locals" hangout.

This was a thoroughly enjoyable lunch. We only had a pretzel appetizer and beer, I must admit, but that was because one pretzel was so huge it was filling enough for two people! Delicious and golden and flaky. Mmmm. The beer was incredible, and served in a frosty glass so beautiful, I took a picture with my digital camera. Our waiter was very friendly and went above and beyond. We were impressed. The selection of beers was amazing (and my guest was from Milwaukee). The only minus was that during the day, the very poorly dressed staff hang out at the bar, looking disheveled, greasy, long-haired, and... creepy. It really takes away from the classy vibe. I've worked at many restaurants, we weren't allowed to hang out like that in the front room. At the very least, they need to start dress code and frankly, hygiene standards.
PuckOTG22 wrote about Pie In The Sky Pizza
Pie in the Sky I discovered by accident a couple years ago when I moved into my new house. It soon became something me and my friends did fairly frequently on friday nights. We'd go to Pie in the Sky for Pizza and drinks - then back to my house for a movie. A few things to note. First - the Spiral breadstick is wonderful. Second - the pizza is great - although, can be a bit greasy. Of course, we got pizza's with Pepperoni and Italian sausage on it. The great things about the Italian sausage is its not like pizza hut or anywhere else where its these chunks of it. Its actually very thinly sliced meat - like as if you were to get it shaved at the deli. Makes it wonderful in my opinion. Usually there is a drink special going on -usually 2 for 1 in my experience. So, check that out. And the desserts are wonderful too. Try the Cookie Dough à-la-mode...its fantastic. Out group (4 of us) split it. Its seriously big and more than enough to split! Now, the downside of Pie in the Sky. It DOES have children there sometimes (hence 4 starts on the Ambiance) - so, it can get loud with the kids. Most of the time the kids I see are pretty well behaved - but, as is the case with children - they do get loud sometimes. However, the people at Pie in the Sky usually sit the kids up at the front and give them dough to play with. All in all - if you are looking for a great pizza, don't want something run-of-the-mill like your chain pizza places...look to Pie in the Sky. Its my favorite place to get pizza in Nashville.
