Saturday December 26, 2009 8:46 we entered the restaurant. We were told the wait was 15min. I asked the lady at the front desk ”has it always been this way” she responded “well we aren’t usually this busy, and they let a couple waitresses go home and we’ve never been had it pick back up.” We weren’t seated till 9:20ish. The only thing is that there were empty tables everywhere. We had 8 people it would have only taken at the most 10 minutes to put two tables together. Well people were coming in about 4 groups of four and were seated before we were. Well the girl who was suppose to be the hosted never stayed at the front. Another customer was waiting at the front, I told her “you could just leave they would never know” she said,” No I’ve been waiting for her to bring me my change.” So it was after the 15 minutes I asked her how much longer. “she said they were cleaning the table now” we weren’t seated about 15minutes after that. So we were seated around 9:25. We were seated and the waitress took our drink order a few minutes later. Well it was a while till we had our drinks. We ordered around 9:40 I knew that because we were wondering how long it would take to get our food since we were almost there for about an hour, and was just seated. I ordered a NY strip but she said they didn’t have any strips or shrimp, she said the only thing was 6 & 10oz sirloin. I wanted a soup instead of a salad and was just going to give that to my mother instead of her having to pay for one. So she said ok, like she understood. Well we finished our order and the waitress seemed alright at the moment. It took close to that bout 15min just for the salads and soup to come out. Well we thought we got the whole soup thing straightened out but I guess not. She brought our food and I was thinking to myself, “my soups for her, that’s why I changed my salad to soup.” So I said,” well she ugh, never mind its whatever.” Thinking it wasn’t that big of a deal. And we all went on about our business. And I gave my soup to my mother, because she was hungry. I got up to see what it was like out in the lobby area where we had entered and no one was there, so I went to the bathroom. On the way back I asked the bartender for some lemons. I spilled water on my cousin from squeezing lemons and it went all over her. Well we just wiped it up no big deal, but the other employees just walked passed us and didn’t offer to help or anything. No big deal..Well about 30 more minutes past and someone else brings our food out. And an extra burger we didn’t order, but they took that with them. “Let me remind you that in that 30 or more minutes we were waiting for our food nobody came to check on us or offer refills.” So we asked where our original waitress went. I quote the lady said, New waitress and “so called manager”: she left Us: left well what happened, we haven’t had anyone come to check on us in a while New waitress and “so called manager”: well she just didn’t want to wait on you anymor

Had my very first Center Point Bar-B-Que exspirence just the other day. Pasted by a couple of time and I have wanted to try it out. The sandwich was very good and the service was nice too. And it is right down the street from my most favorite restaurant, Woody's Steak House.

We went into this restaurant with a large party to celebrate a birthday. The food was slow getting to our table and was cold in some cases. When we paid, my card was charged twice, thus causing additional problems with my account. We had considered using this restaurant for our rehearsal dinner (25-30 people) but they have now been removed from the short list.

A little off the beaten path from Music Row. This place has become my office and chill spot. They keep me caffeinated in the morning and provide beer & music at night. The description above is not accurate though. They no longer have steamer sandwiches or a print shop, but they have paninis and free wi-fi. I liked the steamers a lot, but the paninis are healthier and have better flavor.

1st time I went here it was good, the last 4 were terrible and this LAST time I'll NEVER go there again it was the worst!! I went on a Monday night and like the previous 4 times we were one of only 4 other tables and it took over an hour to get served. When my ribs and brisket arrived they were clearly friday nights ribs. 15 min. later when the we were finally checked on i asked where the ribs cooked daily, I got an unclear "we try". the ribs we greyish black and solid grease. I explained there was no way I could eat these and told her I'd take the chicken instead. 5 min later she came back and said that fresh ribs JUST came off the smoker she'll bring those (so why did I not get those 1st). 10 min later I got those. They were pink and fresh, when she gave me them I asked for the to go box (to save time). She asked if I wanted to take the brisket too (I had only taken 2 bites) I told her it was as bad as the ribs - she offered to bring fresh. She comes back with a little tiny cup of brisket (MUCH smaller then the bad portion) at least thats what it was supposed to be it was 4 small cubes of meat (oh an NO to go container), I asked for to go and check AGAIN and when I received it almost 15 min later the bill have FULL price for everything!!! over 2 hours later of poor service and crappy food I had to pay full price. I WILL NEVER RETURN THERE! I'd like to say that this was NOT an isolated case the past four times it was almost this bad. Oh and the kicker, I asked how could any cook in their right mind send out such horrible food and the waitress told me that it just depends on which cook we get when we come! WHAT??? Where's there quality control!!

I live in downtown Nashville and have been to almost every bar in the downtown area. The Stage has always provided excellent music, superior service, (seriously fast, friendly and accurate), and a great atmosphere. Also...IT"S CLEAN!!! Which is less than I can say for other honky tonks on the street. Def a great place for locals and tourists alike!

FoodyCritic wrote about September's Restaurant

At first we were excited to have such a unique restaurant in Hendersonville and we had heard come great things from our friends that were frequent diners at the Shackle Island location. We have been to Septembers now 7 different times in an effort to try something new on the menu. Unfortunately, we have been disappointed everytime. We had reservations (not that they were needed the restuarant only had 3 customers at 6 p.m. on Saturday) and the hostess did not have our reservation. She left us standing up front for almost 10 minutes in an attempt to locate our reservation. Why would she not just sit us given the restaurant was nearly empty? After we were finally seated we sat for about another 10 minutes for our server and we ordered wine and an appetizer. Our appetizer arrived before our Wine. Our spinach dip appetizer was cold and had a film on the top and we sent it back. I ordered the soup of the day and a salad and the soup was so saltly I could only have one bite of it and I returned it to the kitchen. My husband ordered a steak well done and it arrived totally pink. We are just sad that this restaurant cannot seem to get a good staff or a kitchen staff that can truly prepare food. Needless to say, we will not be returning and will be sharing with our friends that if they want an organized reservation and a well-prepared meal to go elsewhere.

paradigms wrote about Ahart's Pizza Garden

very disappointed in Aharts Pizza Garden. I ordered a B.O.T. 14", supposed to come with Basil, Bacon, Onion, and Fresh Tomato. I repeated the order twice, even saying all the ingredients. My sister-in-law picked up the pizza on her way home from work, and when it arrived it was 'The Boro', which is Basil, Sun Dried Tomatoes, and Garlic. I really don't like sun dried tomatoes. I called to see what I could do, but unfortunately my family had already 'dug in' and eaten half of it. I took 2 bites and realized they were sun dried and spat it out. Yuck. $17.99 wasted imho. PB&J for me. They really should have taken care of me.
